A Bit About Us
How We Got Started
The ear wax clinic was founded by registered general nurse, Emily Harrison. Emily trained at Bournemouth university, graduating in 2012. After 4 years in emergency care for the NHS, she moved into the private sector. Emily has spent many years in complex care and as a specialist senior nurse in the community.

Having a keen interest in ear health, Emily became a specialist in Microsuction and ear care, training with the "Centre for excellence in ear care" provider; Rotherham Primary Ear Care Service NHS Foundation Trust.

Emily has completed training in Microsuction, attends annual Microsuction updates, has the diploma in ear care and aural health, is safeguarding lead and is a registered manager for CQC. She also maintains her Nursing registration and revalidates every 3 years, alongside continuing professional development courses.

Emily now proudly offers a local solution to all your ear wax needs, providing consultations and treatments in her own clinic, along with a mobile service also covering nursing homes if required.
Emily has now performed over 10,000 microsuction procedures and is an expert in her field. We have now taken on another fabulous Nurse who also performs wax removal and ear assessments.

In 2021 Emily opened Pebble Brook Clinic which is now host to a multitude of services including audiology full diagnostic screen hearing tests, skin clinics and other therapies. For more information on the other services available on site, click the button below.
